Niv Levy is a roofing contractor, and he handles the contracts for our jobs in Santa Clarita. He grew up in construction.

We think owners should know who they are working with before a roof project begins. That starts with Niv and the family background he brings to our work.

Niv Levy of Home Vision Remodel

Niv Levy and the roofing team

Santa Clarita Roofing Contractors is a division of Home Vision Remodel. Our own crews do the work.

We give a free sales estimate before our crews start the roofing work across Santa Clarita. Our team covers repairs, replacements, and inspections on homes and commercial buildings.

Each type of job starts from a different question. An inspection asks what shape the roof is in, while a repair or replacement asks what to do about it.

Because the crews are ours, the people on your roof work for the same company that wrote your contract. That keeps responsibility for the job in one place.

Homes and commercial buildings bring different practical questions, such as roof access, work around occupants, and who signs off. Our team talks those through with the owner or manager.

A family background in construction

Niv's grandfather worked in construction, and his father is a contractor by trade. Niv grew up around that work and became a contractor himself.

We are a family-owned company. For Niv, construction was the family trade before it became his own. Roofing contracts are the part of that trade he handles for us.

A contractor's background does not replace a careful look at your particular roof. It does shape the questions we ask before we put a scope of work in writing.

Starting a conversation with our team

A good first conversation starts with what you have noticed. A ceiling stain, a slipped tile, or worn shingles all give us somewhere to begin.

You do not need to know roofing terms to start. Describe what you see in your own words, and we will ask follow-up questions.

It also helps to share what you want from the roof. Some owners are looking at a repair, while others are weighing a full replacement.

If you know of past repairs, or have an earlier report, share that too. Even rough details, like the year of the last repair, give our team useful context. From there, we look at the roof itself.

What our team looks at on a roof

We look at the underlayment, the water barrier under the roof covering, and the decking boards beneath it. Worn underlayment can let water through even when the surface above looks fine. Soft or damaged decking can turn a repair into a larger conversation.

Where we can check those layers, they often tell us more than the surface alone. Roof condition, not a general rule, shapes the options we discuss.

Tile, shingles, and metal each come with their own considerations. The existing structure, the roof's pitch, and your own priorities can all affect which one fits. How the roof will look matters to many owners, and we are glad to talk about that too.

Low-slope sections, found on some commercial buildings and home additions, raise different questions than steeper roofs. We can talk through low-slope options when your building has that kind of area.

We will explain the trade-offs we see on your roof so you can make the call. Where an option does not fit your building, we will say so.

Discussing a roofing project

People ask us about cost, warranty terms, and who pulls the permit. Our estimate is free, and we will explain what drives the price on your roof. Size, material, access, and what sits under the surface can all play a part.

A detailed written inspection report is a different service. If you request one, that report is separate paid work. Ask us for the current fee when you call.

Your sales estimate stays free either way. We will make clear which service you are requesting before any paid work begins.

We back a full roof replacement with a ten-year workmanship warranty on our labor. That warranty applies to full roof replacements only, not to repairs. Keep that difference in mind if you are weighing a repair against a full replacement.

We work under CSLB #1112525 and help you pull a permit when your building department requires one. That department, not our team, decides approval and timing.

How Niv handles the roofing contracts

On our jobs, the contract is Niv's responsibility. It brings the agreed work, the materials, and the terms together in one document.

The scope written there should match what you discussed with our team. If anything reads differently than you expected, ask us to walk through it before you sign.

A clear contract spells out whether the job is a repair or a full roof replacement. It should also name the materials you chose, whether tile, shingles, metal, or a low-slope system.

A signed contract gives you and our crews the same reference point. You can bring questions about it to our team at any stage of the job.

Niv and the rest of our team are glad to answer your repair, replacement, or inspection questions. Whether it is a home or a commercial building, we will start with what you have noticed.
